Felt Bicycles Partners With Manteca Professional Assistance For Race Support

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Manteca Professional Assistance for the 2021 racing season. Manteca Professional Assistance offers neutral support for both recreational cycling events and professional bike races in the form of experienced mechanics, follow vehicles, and spare bikes and wheels. Founded in 2016 by a father and his two sons, Manteca Professional Assistance is based in Spain and currently provides services to events across Europe.

Beginning in 2021, Manteca race support vehicles will be outfitted with fleets of Felt FR and VR road bikes, each built up with a custom selection of components from Manteca’s other equipment partners.

Manteca’s support vehicles are some of the most advanced mobile workshops on the road today, with each one equipped with qualified technicians and a variety of spare parts such as wheels, complete bicycles, and the highest-quality tools for tackling any repair a cyclist may need. Manteca’s goal is for every cyclist at an event they’re supporting—whether it’s a UCI pro race or a gran fondo or sportive—is for each cyclist to enjoy the event and focus on their riding experience, free from fear of mechanical breakdowns. In addition to mechanical support, Manteca also provides nutrition and hydration support for participants at select events.

“To have the collaboration of Felt Bicycles is a great step for the entire Manteca Professional Assistance team,” says Eric Manteca, co-founder of Manteca Professional Assistance. “Felt is an innovative, progressive brand and, at the same time, it has a great human spirit that perfectly defines our values and passion for the sector. Together with Felt Bicycles, we want to continue providing confidence and experience with our mechanical assistance services in great events, with the main goal of making cyclists enjoy their passion and providing them with security against any mishap.”

BIKE SIZING

Getting the proper size bike is key to comfort, performance, and safety. The world's best bike, if the wrong size for you, won't make you a better rider.
Our bike sizing guide is meant to give some general direction as to the best size to fit you based on your height. This is just one variable in a very complex system between rider and bike so keep in mind that rider proportions, fitness levels, and other aspects particular to the individual cyclist has a big impact on how you'll feel and perform on your new bike. Our size guidelines are not a substitute for a professional bike fit. If you have size questions, please don't hesitate to visit your local qualified bike fitter or reach out to us.
